HellConnect Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies specifically to the HellConnect software suite, which includes the PC Server application (Windows) and the Remote application (Android). For the ZenytheLabs website and other products, see our general privacy policy.
1. Overview
HellConnect is a local network stratagem remote for Helldivers 2. It is designed to operate with minimal data collection. This policy explains exactly what data is transmitted, when, and why.
2. Data Collected During License Activation
Each time you launch HellConnect, the app connects to our server to verify your license. The following data is transmitted during this process:
- License key — the key you purchased, used to validate your subscription
- Device Identifier — a hashed, non-reversible identifier unique to your device. On Android, this is derived from the Android ID. On Windows, this is derived from your hardware configuration. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Device name — your device model (e.g., "Pixel 7" on Android, or your PC name on Windows)
- Operating system version — e.g., "Android 14" or "Windows 11"
- App version — the HellConnect version you are running
- IP address — automatically included with any internet request; used only for license validation and fraud prevention
This data is used solely to verify that your license is valid and to bind it to your device. It is stored on our Supabase database for the duration of your license.
3. Data Collected During Update Checks
HellConnect optionally checks for updates by contacting the GitHub Releases API. This request includes your current app version (via User-Agent header) and is used only to determine if a newer version is available. No personal data is sent during update checks.
4. Local Network Communication
When HellConnect is in use, the PC Server and Android Remote communicate over your local Wi-Fi network. This communication is entirely local — it does not pass through any external server. No stratagem inputs, game data, or keystrokes are transmitted to ZenytheLabs or any third party.
5. What We Do NOT Collect
HellConnect does not collect:
- Telemetry, crash reports, or usage analytics
- Personal files, photographs, or contacts
- Game data, stratagem inputs, or keystrokes
- Browsing history or app usage
- Location data
- Account information — HellConnect has no user accounts
6. Third-Party Services
HellConnect uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — license key validation and Device Identifier binding. Data is stored in their cloud database. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- GitHub API — optional update checks. See GitHub Privacy Statement.
- Buy Me a Coffee — payment processing for license purchases. We do not store payment card data. See Buy Me a Coffee Terms.
- Resend — delivery of license keys via email after purchase. See Resend Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — typography on the ZenytheLabs website. See Google Privacy Policy.
7. Data Retention
License activation data (Device Identifier, license key, device name, OS version, and app version) is retained on our server for the duration of your license. If your license expires or is revoked, this data may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention, after which it is permanently deleted.
Cached license data is stored locally on your device using simple obfuscation. You can clear this by logging out or uninstalling the app.
8. Data Security
All communication between HellConnect and our license server is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Device Identifiers are hashed and cannot be reversed to identify you personally. We do not store any data in plain text on our servers.
9. Your Rights
Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
- Know what data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Request a copy of your data

If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA. We honor these rights globally.
10. Children's Privacy
HellConnect is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as HellConnect evolves. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of HellConnect after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
